The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) is designed to ensure inclusivity for all. Key features include step-free access, hearing induction loops, accessible toilets, and designated parking spaces. RCP also provide tailored support for delegates with specific needs.

GESGB are committed to monitoring the environmental impact of all our events. Large conferences often produce lots of unnecessary waste and we are working as a team, alongside the venue and suppliers, to minimise this.

So what can you expect to see (or not see) at the Africa Conference 2025?

	Digital technical programme, event guide and abstract book.
	Interactive exhibition floor with digital touch-screen totems.
	Energy efficiency: RCP have upgraded electrical systems with sensor lighting and LED replacements, reducing energy consumption significantly.
	Food waste management: GPS system used to track and weigh food waste, diverting it to anaerobic digestion or composting.
	Water and compost: rainwater harvesting and composting from the RCP Medicinal Garden support sustainable operations.

	Printed exhibition stand backdrop.
	Printed marketing material on exhibition stands.
	Plastic cups. We will encourage attendees to bring their own reusable cups.
